OUR STORY
Stephanie & Mike,
and a house full of love.
Our rescue dogs are the reason we do this.
We’re Stephanie and Mike, the husband-and-wife team behind Philly, With Love. For us, helping dogs find homes is personal.
It started with Buddy.
In May 2014, Stephanie rescued her first dog, Buddy, a Chihuahua. He’s where our rescue story begins.
A wedding, a Yorkie, and a surprise.
We got together and married in 2017. A month after our wedding, we adopted Juliet, a Yorkie—and soon discovered she was pregnant! Three of her puppies, Mac, Luna, and Egon, are still part of our family today.
There was more love to come.
In May 2025, we adopted Arlo, a Plott Hound mix, from ACCT Philly. Then, in October 2026, Butters the Chihuahua joined our family.
They’re our family. They’ll always be our best friends.
Buddy and Juliet passed away in 2026, but they will always be part of our story.

We try to share ACCT Philly’s dogs every day, helping more people see the faces and stories behind the shelter listings. Our mission is to raise awareness, encourage adoption, and help these best friends find loving homes of their own.
Through these keychains, we want to turn Philadelphia pride into support for the dogs still waiting.
